SNSD (Girls' Generation) was first in the form on July 16, 2007 which is formed by SM Entertainment. Girls' Generation is a group of South Korean female singers, they consist of nine members: Taeyeon, Jessica, Sunny, Tiffany, Hyoyeon, Yuri, Sooyoung, Yoona, and Seohyun. When first formed, their name is Super Girl (female version of Super Junior - Boyband output Korea SM Entertainment as well). Before becoming a member of SNSD, they have been trained as professional dancers and singers, most of whom had been trained in acting and modeling, as well as a model experienced in television and magazine advertising.

The lead single from the album entitled "Oh!" released digitally on January 25 followed by music videos were released two days later. The song was immediately ranked first in the various music charts in just a few moments after it was released. With the song "Oh!", Girls' Generation succeeded in winning K-Chart 5 consecutive weeks at the KBS Music Bank, as well as three victories on SBS Inkigayo.
